Stop 8 of 8 · NORTH EXTENDED

Sant'Andrea sea stacks

Limestone sea stacks and walls off Torre Sant’Andrea, finale of the North Extended tour. The best known, the Lovers’ Arch, collapsed in the storm of 14-15 February 2026: it now lies on the seabed, and that stretch of coast already looks different.

At a glance

  • Sea stacks and limestone walls
  • Coastal tower
  • Lovers’ Arch collapsed (Feb 2026)
  • North Extended finale

Jacopo still runs along the remaining stacks and the tower on the coast: tall walls, deep water close to the rock.

The stop always depends on wind, swell and traffic in the area — even more so here, given the recent cliff erosion.

Keep your camera ready: even without the arch, this is still the shot that closes the four-hour loop.
